so my clutch is slippin just a tiny bit when i power shift and if i leave my foot on the clutch pedal, the weight of it is enough to make the clutch slip under hard accelerations, the clutch pedal feels sorta funny also, like the clutch in my stealth did before the slave went.

the only thing is i dunno which is more likely to blow on 240's the master or the slave? or is there some way to test it? any input will help

cheers.

Adjust the engaging point of the clutch. There's a 12mm nut that has to be loosened and than you turn the push rod clockwise iirc. There should only be 1-3mm of free play says the FSM. Google "adjusting S13 clutch pedal". Usually the slave goes first, I bought mine from PDM for $15 or something like that.

so i finally got a chance to get under my car, the slave cylinder is not coming back all the way but i pulled the rubber sleeve back and theres no excessive amount of fluid in there so i dont think its blown, im gunna try just bleeding it, but i noticed this little thing mounted to the frame on the passenger side of the car, it has a hydro line that i am guessing is coming from the master and one going to the slave, what is it??

take your foot of the clutch when you drive. it's why Nissan put a dead pedal beside the clutch ;)

Is it a stock clutch?

Im pretty sure the stock clutch will slip when power shifting...and also resting your foot on it doesn't help either.

even a decently new stock clutch on a single cam slips a bit when your booting the fuck out of it, both my cars do it and i find its the most noticeable going into 3rd

if your power shifting, you deserve the problems you get from being a fucking retard.

shifting like that is hard on shit, nothing more.

imo, you want more than 1-3mm of freee play in the clutch to ensure its fully engaging.

Powershifting...resting your foot on the clutch...pretty much slipping.
